By registering for an account, participating in tournaments, or using any features of MySetMatch, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

MySetMatch provides an online platform for table tennis players to:

• Register for and participate in table tennis tournaments
• Track match results and scores
• View player rankings and leaderboards
• Connect with other players
• Access tournament brackets and schedules
• Process tournament entry fee payments

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (users under 18 require parental consent)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Provide accurate information and keep it updated
• Not create multiple accounts for the same person

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

4. Tournament Participation

Registration and Fees

• Tournament registration may require payment of entry fees
• Entry fees are non-refundable after the registration deadline, except as stated in our Refund Policy
• You must register before the tournament registration deadline
• Tournament organizers may set maximum participant limits

Conduct

When participating in tournaments, you agree to:

• Follow all tournament rules and regulations
• Arrive on time for scheduled matches
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for other players, officials, and staff
• Report accurate match scores
• Not engage in cheating, match-fixing, or any form of fraud
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse other participants

Consequences of Misconduct

Violation of tournament conduct rules may result in:

• Disqualification from the tournament
• Forfeiture of entry fees
• Suspension or permanent ban from the platform
• Removal from rankings and leaderboards

5. Payment Terms

Tournament Entry Fees

• Payment is processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
• All fees are in the currency specified at the time of registration
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for tournament entry fees
• Payment must be completed to confirm tournament registration

Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined by the tournament's refund policy. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.

Payment Disputes

If you have questions about a charge, contact us at support@mysetmatch.com before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks may result in account suspension.

6. User Content and Conduct

Your Content

You may submit content such as profile information, photos, and match comments. You represent that:

• You own or have the right to use the content you submit
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your content complies with applicable laws

License

By submitting content, you grant MySetMatch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the platform.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise platform security
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the platform
• Scrape or collect user data without permission

7. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All content, features, and functionality of MySetMatch (including text, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by MySetMatch and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.

Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile our software
• Remove or alter any copyright notices or trademarks
• Use our branding without authorization

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

MySetMatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Tournament Results

We rely on users and tournament organizers to report accurate scores and results. We are not responsible for disputes regarding match outcomes or rankings.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services (such as Stripe for payments). We are not responsible for the performance or security of these third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MySetMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MySetMatch harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your use of the platform
• Your content or conduct

10. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with MySetMatch, please contact us at support@mysetmatch.com first. We will attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, rather than in court.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings.

Your continued use of MySetMatch after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
